Two methods both use ODBC datasource to link database to interface

Single PC installation

This would be a MS Access Database (back end) with a user friendly interface (front end). The interface would be designed in either Visual Basic or Macromedia Director. We would provide you with an automatic installation file which would set up the system and would reside in C:/Program Files/Recordset. Shortcuts would be automatically placed on your desktop for ease of use. This type of system is ideal for a small business person where all the computer work is done on one PC/Laptop.

Network Multi User Installation

This would be a MS Access Database (back end) with a user friendly interface (front end). The interface would be designed in either Visual Basic or Macromedia Director. We would ask you to create a folder C:/Recordset then map this folder to a chosen drive letter for example Z:/
Then each client machine would need to be set so they have access to this drive. We would provide you with two automatic installation files

1. Server Setup FIle - Would install backend files into Z:/ directory
2. Client Setup File - Would install frontend files into C:/Program Files/Recordset
